This is a continuing series of Nostalgic Love Song EP releases by TortoiseClimbing Audio™.
Target for releasing our 1st EP in the Nostalgic Love Songs series is Summer of 2026. Songs for the initial EPs are coming from materials on our back master tapes, either never or only privately released. The upgrades include:
As of mid-May 2026, we are well along on a number of projects, upgrading and augmenting the previous recordings to be artistically and professionally worthy of public release. For content of each of these in process EPs, click on the following working titles for planned EP collections:
For those interested, we prepared additional details about several of the songs planned for inclusion in the above EPs. Click Advanced Song Reviews.
We previously recorded the following love duets from the 80's and 90's, popularized by movies and Broadway showa. (Working title for that project was Romantic Duets.) As with all our back catalogue, we are digitally upgrading them. These recordings used karaoke accompaniments, which will be replaced, as well as some vocals. They will be released as part of additional EPs in the Nostalgic Love Songs series. Song titles include:
Our research is identifying a long list of old nostalgic love songs we will draw from to continue this series of EPs. Immediate examples of somewhat newer nostalgic love songs we plan to include are:
"Perhaps Love" - by John Denver ©1981 (duet)
"Eres Tu" - by Juan Carlos Calderón ©1973 (Lead with chorus)
"Rainbow Connection" - by Paul Williams and Kenneth Ascher ©1979 (It was first done as a duet in 1980) (I’d prefer doing it as duet, with banjo as the lead instrument.)
"All I Know" - by Jimmy Webb ©1973 (I like the duet version with Linda Ronstadt) (FYI - Should be in a lower key for me)
We are planning the list of songs to include in our 1st nostalgic Christmas song EP. Hopefully it will be available for late Fall of 2026. See the detailed page for Nostalgic Christmas songs.
