During final mixing of the album Hymns and Songs of My Mother, while working on the mix for "Savior Like A Shepherd Lead Us," Mr. Goettee and Mr. McElroy decided it felt like that hymn was missing her voice. That likely is because she sings duet with David on a number of other hymns throughout the album. Fortunately, Ms. Gerber-Salins was able to make herself available to add her alto harmonies to the mix on the full last verse (and refrain) of "Savior Like A Shepherd Lead Us." The addition of her voice indeed added a wonderful missing color dimension.
